Removal





AUDIO / VIDEO: RADIO RECEIVER: REMOVAL

1. PRECAUTION

NOTICE:
* After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal notices before proceeding with work Service Precautions.
* w/o Daytime Running Light:
* A Hard Disk Drive (HDD) is built into the radio and display receiver assembly to store multi-media data, and is used for the audio and visual system. Therefore, care must be taken when handling the radio and display receiver assembly.
* When removing the hard disk drive, eliminate static electricity by touching the vehicle body to prevent components from being damaged.

2. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 FLOOR BOARD Removal

3. REMOVE REAR DECK FLOOR BOX Removal

4. REMOVE REAR NO. 3 FLOOR BOARD Removal

5. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM AUXILIARY BATTERY NEGATIVE TERMINAL

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

6. REMOVE INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL ASSEMBLY Removal

7. REMOVE LOWER CENTER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

8. REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL GARNISH Removal

9. REMOVE UPPER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

10. REMOVE RADIO AND DISPLAY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET (w/ Daytime Running Light)

(a) Remove the 4 bolts.





(b) Disengage the 4 claws as shown in the illustration.





(c) Disconnect each connector and remove the radio and display receiver assembly with bracket.

11. REMOVE RADIO AND DISPLAY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET (w/o Daytime Running Light)

(a) Remove the 4 bolts.





(b) Disengage the 4 claws as shown in the illustration.





(c) Disconnect each connector and remove the radio and display receiver assembly with bracket.

12. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIO BRACKET (w/ Daytime Running Light)

(a) w/o Navigation System:

(1) Remove the 3 bolts and No. 1 radio bracket.





(b) w/ Navigation System:

(1) Remove the 5 bolts and No. 1 radio bracket.





13. REMOVE NO. 2 RADIO BRACKET (w/ Daytime Running Light)

(a) w/o Navigation System:

(1) Remove the 3 bolts and No. 2 radio bracket.





(b) w/ Navigation System:

(1) Remove the 5 bolts and No. 2 radio bracket.





14. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIO BRACKET (w/o Daytime Running Light) Removal

15. REMOVE NO. 2 RADIO BRACKET (w/o Daytime Running Light) Removal

16. REMOVE EXTENSION MODULE (w/ Daytime Running Light)

w/ Navigation System: Removal

17. REMOVE HARD DISK DRIVE (w/o Daytime Running Light) Removal

18. REMOVE RADIO AND DISPLAY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY (w/ Daytime Running Light)

19. REMOVE NAVIGATION ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/o Daytime Running Light)
