Removal





NAVIGATION / MULTI INFO DISPLAY: NAVIGATION RECEIVER: REMOVAL

1. PRECAUTION

NOTICE:
* After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal notices before proceeding with work Service Precautions.
* A Hard Disk Drive (HDD) is built into the navigation receiver assembly to store map and other data, and is used for the navigation system. Therefore, care must be taken for the following points when handling the navigation receiver assembly.
* When removing the hard disk drive, eliminate static electricity by touching the vehicle body to prevent components from being damaged.

2. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 FLOOR BOARD (for Separate Type) Removal

3. REMOVE REAR DECK FLOOR BOX Removal

4. REMOVE REAR NO. 3 FLOOR BOARD Removal

5. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM AUXILIARY BATTERY NEGATIVE TERMINAL

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

6. REMOVE INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL ASSEMBLY Removal

7. REMOVE LOWER CENTER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

8. REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL GARNISH Removal

9. REMOVE UPPER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

10. REMOVE NAVIGATION RECEIVER WITH BRACKET

(a) Remove the 4 bolts.





(b) Disengage the 4 claws and remove the navigation receiver with bracket as shown in the illustration.





(c) Disconnect each connector.

11. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIO BRACKET

(a) Remove the 4 screws and No. 1 radio bracket.





12. REMOVE NO. 2 RADIO BRACKET

(a) Remove the 4 screws and No. 2 radio bracket.





13. REMOVE HARD DISK DRIVE Removal

14. REMOVE NAVIGATION ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY
