Removal
1 Remove the pedestrian protection hood actuator and bracket. For additional information, refer to Pedestrian Protection Hood Actuator LH Pedestrian Protection Hood Actuator LH

2 Remove the pedestrian protection latch actuator.
- Remove and discard the 2 Torx bolts.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.

Installation
1 Install the pedestrian protection latch actuator.
- Connect the electrical connector.
- Tighten the new Torx bolts to 9 Nm (7 lb.ft).
2 Install the pedestrian protection hood actuator and bracket. For additional information, refer to Pedestrian Protection Hood Actuator LH Pedestrian Protection Hood Actuator LH
