VEHICLE PROXIMITY NOTIFICATION SYSTEM: VEHICLE APPROACHING SPEAKER ECU: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL VEHICLE APPROACHING SPEAKER CONTROLLER

(a) Engage the guide.

(b) Install the nut to install the vehicle approaching speaker controller.

Torque : 6.1 Nm (62 kgf-cm, 54 in-lbf)

(c) Connect the connector.

2. INSTALL LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

3. INSTALL LOWER NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL AIRBAG ASSEMBLY Installation

4. INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

5. INSTALL FRONT PANEL GARNISH RH Installation

6. INSTALL INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL RH Installation

7. INSTALL FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP RH Installation

8. INSTALL COWL SIDE TRIM SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

Use the same procedure as for the LH side Installation.

9. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH

Use the same procedure as for the LH side Installation.

10. CONNECT CABLE TO AUXILIARY BATTERY NEGATIVE TERMINAL

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

11. INSTALL LUGGAGE TRIM SERVICE HOLE COVER Installation

12. INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT
