C14 Checking the Central Locking Relay's Windings

- Switch off ignition.
- Replace central locking relay D/G.
- Remove the necessary panels at the A and B posts and in the trunk/tailgate on left side.
- Separate the halves of the central locking module connector.




- Connect a voltmeter to the front door A-post, between pos. 5 and pos. 6 in the 24-pin connector pin section.
- Connect a voltmeter at the rear doors B-post, between pos. 1 and pos. 2 in the 11-pin connector's socket section.
- Connect a voltmeter at the left side of the trunk/tailgate, between pos. 11 and pos. 12 in the 24-pin connector's pin section.

The voltmeter should indicate approx. 0 V for all readings.

If all readings are OK:
- Continue to C15. C15 Checking Central Locking Windings at Door Posts

If reading is incorrect:
Fault on the central locking relay's relay poles.
- Continue to C20. C20 Checking Locking Signal Cables
