C15 Checking Central Locking Windings at Door Posts

C15 Checking the central locking motors' windings at the door posts




- Switch off ignition.
- Remove central locking relay D/G.
- Remove the necessary panels at the A and B posts and in the trunk/tailgate on left side.
- Separate the halves of the central locking module connector.





- Connect a ohmmeter at front door A-post, between pos. 5 and pos. 6 in the 24-pin connector's socket section.
- Connect a ohmmeter at the rear door B-post, between pos. 1 and pos. 2 in the 11-pin connector's pin section.
- Connect a ohmmeter at left side in trunk/tailgate, between pos. 11 and pos. 12 in the 24-pin connector socket section.

The ohmmeter should indicate 1 - 15 Ohms for all readings.

If all readings are OK:

If reading is incorrect:
