Central Locking Inoperable on One Door

D1 Verifying mechanical functions for fault on one door




- Switch off ignition.




- Close door.




- Confirm that the door can be locked/unlocked using the interior locking button.




- Open the door using the interior door handle.


NOTE: Try the outer door handle as well (e.g. if child lock is activated on the rear doors).






If central locking module can be manually operated:
- Go to C15. C15 Checking Central Locking Windings at Door Posts

If central locking module cannot be manually operated:
Mechanical defect on central locking module or linkage system to inner lock and door handle
- Correct fault or install new central locking module complete, alternatively linkage system.
