Air Injection Pump: Service and Repair

Secondary Air Injection Pump Motor V101

Removing

- Remove the low temperature coolant circuit coolant expansion tank bolt - 1 - and lay the tank to the side.






- Press the release buttons and remove the secondary air hoses - 1 and 2 -. Disconnect the connector - arrow - and free up the wire.






- Remove the nuts - arrows - and remove the Secondary Air Injection (AIR) pump motor upward.






Installing

• For the correct tightening specifications, refer to => [ Secondary Air Injection System Overview ] Secondary Air Injection System Overview.

Installation is carried out in the reverse order while noting the following:

The AIR hoses must audibly lock into place.
