Secondary Air Injection Combination Valve, Right

Removing

- Remove the front exhaust pipe with catalytic converter. Refer to => [ Front Exhaust Pipe with Catalytic Converter, Right (Bank 1) ] Front Exhaust Pipe with Catalytic Converter, Right (Bank 1).

- Remove the bolts - arrows - and the heat shield - 1 -.






- Disconnect the vacuum line - 2 - from the Secondary Air Injection (AIR) combination valve.






- Remove the bolts - 3 -, pull off the combination valve and then remove the bolts - 1 - from the secondary air pipe.

Installing

Installation is carried out in the reverse order while noting the following:

- Replace the gaskets.

- Install the secondary air pipe and then tighten the combination valve.

• For the correct tightening specifications, refer to => [ Secondary Air Injection System Overview ] Secondary Air Injection System Overview.

• Install the front exhaust pipe with catalytic converter. Refer to => [ Front Exhaust Pipe with Catalytic Converter, Right (Bank 1) ] Front Exhaust Pipe with Catalytic Converter, Right (Bank 1).
