Mufflers and Mounts Overview

Center and rear muffler, separating. Refer to => [ Center and Rear Muffler Separating ] Center and Rear Muffler Separating.





1 Clamping Sleeve

• M8 - 25 Nm

• M10 - 40 Nm

• Tighten the bolts evenly.

2 Suspended Mount

• For the center muffler.

• Replace if damaged

• secured to the underbody.

3 Bolt

• 25 Nm

4 Bracket

• Secured with the crossmember to the rear subframe.

5 Retaining Loop

• Replace if damaged.

6 Left Rear Muffler

• Original equipment as one unit with the center muffler. For repairs, replace each separately.

• Separating exhaust system. Refer to => [ Center and Rear Muffler Separating ] Center and Rear Muffler Separating.

7 Suspended Mount

• For the rear muffler.

8 Right Rear Muffler

• Original equipment as one unit with the center muffler. For repairs, replace each separately.

• Separating exhaust system. Refer to => [ Center and Rear Muffler Separating ] Center and Rear Muffler Separating.

9 Center Muffler

• Original equipment as one unit with the rear muffler. For repairs, replace each separately.

• Separating exhaust system. Refer to => [ Center and Rear Muffler Separating ] Center and Rear Muffler Separating.

Center Muffler Suspended Mount to Underbody





Mount - 2 - is installed on underbody in connection with the heat shield - 3 - and fuel tank securing strap - 4 -.

Tightening specification for bolts - 1 -: 25 Nm.

Clamping Sleeve Position





- Install the clamping sleeve so that the bolt end - arrow - does not project beyond the lower edge of the clamping sleeve.

• Threaded connection points toward the right.

Installed Position of Clamping Sleeve (for Repairs)
