FRONT SUSPENSION: FRONT STABILIZER BAR (for Hatchback): INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL FRONT NO. 1 STABILIZER BAR BUSH

(a) Install the front No. 1 stabilizer bar bush onto the front stabilizer bar.

HINT
* Install the front No. 1 stabilizer bar bush onto the front stabilizer bar so that the bush stopper of the front stabilizer bar faces the outside of the vehicle.
* Install the front No. 1 stabilizer bar bush with its cutout facing the front of the vehicle.

2. INSTALL FRONT STABILIZER BAR

(a) Install the front stabilizer bar onto the front suspension crossmember sub-assembly with the paint mark on the left side of the vehicle.

3. INSTALL FRONT NO. 1 STABILIZER BRACKET LH

(a) Provisionally tighten bolt A.





(b) Tighten the bolts to the specified torque, in the order of B then A.

Torque : 47 Nm (479 kgf-cm, 35 ft-lbf)

4. INSTALL FRONT NO. 1 STABILIZER BRACKET RH

HINT
Use the same procedure for the RH side as for the LH side.
