Installation
SUSPENSION: FRONT LOWER SUSPENSION ARM: INSTALLATION
1. INSTALL FRONT LOWER SUSPENSION ARM
2. INSTALL LOWER NO. 2 ARM BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) Temporarily tighten the lower No. 2 arm bracket to the front lower suspension arm with the nut and washer.
3. INSTALL FRONT LOWER BALL JOINT Installation
4. TEMPORARILY INSTALL FRONT LOWER SUSPENSION ARM
(a) Install the front lower suspension arm and side rail plate with the 4 bolts.
Torque : 204 Nm (2,080 kgf-cm, 150 ft-lbf) for bolt 1
Torque : 86 Nm (877 kgf-cm, 63 ft-lbf) for bolt 2
Torque : 50 Nm (510 kgf-cm, 37 ft-lbf) for bolt 3
(b) Temporarily install the bolt, washer and nut.
(c) Install the front lower ball joint with the 2 bolts.
Torque : 120 Nm (1,220 kgf-cm, 89 ft-lbf)
5. TEMPORARILY INSTALL FRONT SHOCK ABSORBER WITH COIL SPRING
(a) Insert the bolt from the rear of the vehicle, and install the front shock absorber lower side on the front suspension lower arm. Temporarily install the nut while holding the bolt.
6. CONNECT FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY Installation
7. CONNECT TIE ROD ASSEMBLY Installation
8. CONNECT FRONT SPEED SENSOR Installation
9. CONNECT FRONT HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR LINK SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation
10. STABILIZE SUSPENSION Installation
11. TIGHTEN FRONT SHOCK ABSORBER WITH COIL SPRING
(a) Tighten the bolt on the lower side of the front shock absorber while holding the nut.
Torque : 157 Nm (1,600 kgf-cm, 116 ft-lbf)
12. TIGHTEN FRONT LOWER SUSPENSION ARM
(a) Tighten the bolt on the front of the front lower suspension arm.
Torque : 135 Nm (1,377 kgf-cm, 100 ft-lbf)
(b) Tighten the installation nut of the lower No. 2 arm bracket.
Torque : 113 Nm (1,152 kgf-cm, 83 ft-lbf)
13. INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER
14. INSTALL FRONT WHEEL
Torque : 103 Nm (1,050 kgf-cm, 76 ft-lbf)
15. INSPECT AND ADJUST FRONT WHEEL ALIGNMENT
(a) Inspect and adjust the front wheel alignment Front Wheel Alignment.
