1. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY
2. REMOVE FRONT OUTER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER LH Removal

3. REMOVE FRONT INNER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER LH Removal

4. REMOVE REAR OUTER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER LH Removal

5. REMOVE REAR INNER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER LH Removal

6. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH Removal

7. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY Removal

8. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

9. REMOVE UPPER NO. 1 CONSOLE PANEL GARNISH Removal

10. REMOVE UPPER NO. 2 CONSOLE PANEL GARNISH Removal

11. REMOVE CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

12. REMOVE FRONT ASH RECEPTACLE ASSEMBLY Removal

13. REMOVE REAR ASH RECEPTACLE ASSEMBLY Removal

14. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX REGISTER ASSEMBLY Removal

15. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX Removal

16. REMOVE NO. 2 CONSOLE BOX DUCT Removal

17. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH Removal

18. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM COVER LH Removal

19. REMOVE SIDE INSTRUMENT PANEL LH Removal

20. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

21. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

22. REMOVE DRIVER SIDE KNEE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY Removal

23. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH Removal

24. REMOVE LAP BELT OUTER ANCHOR COVER LH Removal

25. SEPARATE FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH Removal

26. REMOVE LOWER CENTER PILLAR GARNISH LH Removal

27. REMOVE FRONT FLOOR FOOTREST LH
(a) Disengage the 2 clips and remove the front floor footrest LH.
28. REMOVE NO. 3 DASH PANEL INSULATOR PAD
(a) Remove the clip and No. 3 dash panel insulator pad.
29. REMOVE FRONT FLOOR SILENCER PAD LH
30. REMOVE REAR AIR DUCT GUIDE LH
31. REMOVE NO. 2 REAR AIR DUCT
32. REMOVE CENTER AIRBAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY Removal

33. REMOVE FRONT UPPER FLOOR REAR SUB PANEL






(a) Turn back the floor carpet in order to remove the front upper floor rear sub panel.
(b) Remove the 4 bolts.
(c) Disengage the 8 clamps, and remove the front upper floor rear sub panel from the body.
34. REMOVE PROPELLER SHAFT WITH CENTER BEARING ASSEMBLY
HINT: Refer to the instructions for Removal of the propeller shaft with center bearing assembly Removal.

35. LOOSEN PARKING BRAKE






(a) Remove the lock nut from the No. 1 parking brake assembly.
(b) Loosen the No. 1 wire adjusting nut and parking brake.
36. REMOVE PARKING BRAKE RETURN WITH DAMPER SPRING






(a) Remove the parking brake return with damper spring.
37. REMOVE PARKING BRAKE EQUALIZER






(a) Remove the 2 bolts, and separate the No. 2 parking brake cable assembly and No. 3 parking brake cable assembly from the parking brake equalizer.






(b) Slide the rubber boot as shown in the illustration.






(c) Remove the parking brake equalizer from the No. 1 parking brake cable assembly.
38. REMOVE PARKING BRAKE CONTROL PEDAL ASSEMBLY
(a) Remove the 2 bolts and 3 nuts, and separate the No. 1 parking brake cable assembly from the body.









(b) Remove the 2 nuts and separate the instrument panel junction block assembly.






(c) Disconnect the parking brake switch connector.
(d) Remove the 3 nuts and parking brake control pedal assembly from the body.
