1. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY
2. REMOVE FRONT OUTER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER LH Removal

3. REMOVE FRONT INNER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER LH Removal

4. REMOVE REAR OUTER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER LH Removal

5. REMOVE REAR INNER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER LH Removal

6. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH Removal

7. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY
8. REMOVE FRONT OUTER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER RH
HINT: Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

9. REMOVE FRONT INNER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER RH
HINT: Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

10. REMOVE REAR OUTER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER RH

17. ALIGN FRONT WHEELS FACING STRAIGHT AHEAD
18. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.
NOTICE: When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

19. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

20. REMOVE UPPER NO. 1 CONSOLE PANEL GARNISH Removal

21. REMOVE UPPER NO. 2 CONSOLE PANEL GARNISH Removal

22. REMOVE CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

23. REMOVE FRONT ASH RECEPTACLE ASSEMBLY Removal

24. REMOVE REAR ASH RECEPTACLE ASSEMBLY Removal

25. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX REGISTER ASSEMBLY Removal

26. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX Removal

27. REMOVE NO. 3 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY Removal

28. REMOVE CENTER LOWER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL Removal

29. REMOVE MULTI-DISPLAY WITH RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY (w/ Navigation System) Removal

30. REMOVE INTEGRATION CONTROL PANEL WITH RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY (w/o Navigation System) Removal

31. REMOVE LOWER NO. 3 STEERING WHEEL COVER Removal

32. REMOVE LOWER NO. 2 STEERING WHEEL COVER Removal

33. REMOVE STEERING PAD Removal

34. REMOVE STEERING WHEEL ASSEMBLY Removal

35. REMOVE STEERING COLUMN COVER Removal

36. REMOVE TURN SIGNAL SWITCH ASSEMBLY WITH SPIRAL CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

37. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH






(a) Put protective tape around the front door scuff plate.
(b) Using a moulding remover, disengage the 4 clips.






(c) Disengage the 7 claws and remove the front door scuff plate LH.
38. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH
HINT: Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

39. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM COVER LH






(a) Disengage the 4 claws and remove the front door opening trim cover LH.
40. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM COVER RH
HINT: Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

41. REMOVE FRONT PILLAR GARNISH LH






(a) Disengage the 2 clips from the vehicle body.
(b) Cut off the clip [A].
(c) Disengage the guide and remove the front pillar garnish LH.
(d) Remove the clip [A] from the vehicle body.






(e) Protect the curtain shield airbag assembly.
(1) Thoroughly cover the airbag with a cloth or nylon sheet and fix the ends of the cover with adhesive tape, as shown in the illustration.
NOTICE: Cover the curtain shield airbag with a protective cover as soon as the front pillar garnish is removed.

42. REMOVE FRONT PILLAR GARNISH RH
HINT: Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

48. REMOVE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY Removal

49. REMOVE SIDE INSTRUMENT PANEL RH Removal

50. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

51. REMOVE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE KNEE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY Removal

52. REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY Removal

53. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY Removal

54. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY Removal

55. REMOVE NO. 3 INSTRUMENT PANEL SPEAKER PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

56. REMOVE FRONT STEREO COMPONENT SPEAKER ASSEMBLY (w/ Front Center Speaker) Removal

57. REMOVE NO. 2 CONSOLE BOX DUCT Removal

58. REMOVE NO. 1 CONSOLE BOX DUCT Removal

59. DISCONNECT INSTRUMENT PANEL WIRE ASSEMBLY Removal

60. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD ASSEMBLY Removal

61. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL CLIP Removal

62. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL STAY Removal

63. REMOVE NO. 2 FLOOR UNDER COVER Removal

64. REMOVE NO. 1 FLOOR UNDER COVER Removal

65. REMOVE TAIL EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY Removal

66. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 FLOOR PANEL BRACE Removal

67. REMOVE FRONT CENTER FLOOR BRACE Removal

68. DISCONNECT HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR Removal

69. REMOVE FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY Removal

70. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 FLOOR HEAT INSULATOR Removal

71. REMOVE FLOOR SHIFT GEAR SHIFTING ROD SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

72. REMOVE TRANSMISSION FLOOR SHIFT ASSEMBLY Removal

73. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH






(a) Put protective tape around the rear door scuff plate.
(b) Using a moulding remover, disengage the 2 clips.






(c) Disengage the 5 claws and remove the the rear door scuff plate LH.
74. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH
HINT: Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

75. REMOVE LAP BELT OUTER ANCHOR COVER LH






(a) Disengage the 2 claws and remove the lap belt outer anchor cover LH.
76. SEPARATE FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH






(a) Remove the bolt and separate the front seat outer belt assembly LH.
77. REMOVE LOWER CENTER PILLAR GARNISH LH






(a) Disengage the 3 claws and 5 clips, and remove the lower center pillar garnish LH.
78. REMOVE CENTER PILLAR GARNISH LH






(a) Remove the 2 screws.
(b) Disengage the 2 claws and remove the center pillar garnish LH by pulling it down.
79. REMOVE FRONT SEAT BELT ANCHOR COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY






(a) Disengage the 3 claws and remove the front seat belt anchor cover sub-assembly.
80. REMOVE LOWER CENTER PILLAR GARNISH RH
HINT: Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

81. SEPARATE FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY RH






(a) Disconnect the connector.
(b) Remove the bolt and separate the front seat outer belt assembly RH.
82. REMOVE CENTER PILLAR GARNISH RH
HINT: Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

83. REMOVE REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH LH






(a) Disengage the 5 claws and remove the rear seat side garnish LH.
84. REMOVE REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH RH
HINT: Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

85. REMOVE ROOF SIDE INNER GARNISH LH






(a) Disengage the 4 clips and claw, and remove the roof side inner garnish LH.
86. REMOVE ROOF SIDE INNER GARNISH RH
HINT: Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

87. REMOVE INNER REAR VIEW MIRROR STAY HOLDER COVER Removal

88. REMOVE RAIN SENSOR Removal

89. REMOVE MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY (w/o Sliding Roof) Removal

90. REMOVE MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY (w/ Sliding Roof) Removal

91. REMOVE SPOT LIGHT ASSEMBLY Removal

92. REMOVE COAT HOOK






(a) Remove the screw and coat hook.
HINT: Use the same procedure to remove the hook on the other side.

93. REMOVE ASSIST GRIP SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) Using a screwdriver, disengage the 4 claws and remove the 2 assist grip covers.





HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

(b) Disengage the 2 clips and remove the assist grip sub-assembly.
HINT: Use the same procedure for the other 3 assist grips.

94. REMOVE VISOR BRACKET COVER






(a) Using a moulding remover, disengage the 4 claws and remove the visor bracket cover.
HINT: Use the same procedure to remove the cover on the other side.

95. REMOVE VISOR ASSEMBLY LH






(a) Remove the 2 screws and visor assembly LH.
96. REMOVE VISOR ASSEMBLY RH
HINT: Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

97. REMOVE VISOR HOLDER






(a) Remove the visor holder by turning it counterclockwise.
HINT: Use the same procedure to remove the holder on the other side.

98. REMOVE ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY (w/o Sliding Roof)






(a) Disconnect the roof wire connector and disengage each clamp from the front pillar LH.
(b) Disconnect each connector from the map light assembly.






(c) Disengage the hook, 10 claws and 2 clips.






(d) Remove the roof headlining assembly from the vehicle through the front right door.
99. REMOVE ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY (w/ Sliding Roof)






(a) Disconnect the roof wire connector and disengage each clamp from the front pillar LH.
(b) Disconnect each connector from the map light assembly.






(c) Disengage the hook, 10 claws, 8 fasteners and 2 clips.






(d) Remove the roof headlining assembly from the vehicle through the front right door.
100. REMOVE ROOF HEADLINING PAD






(a) Remove the 2 roof headlining pads.
101. REMOVE NO. 1 ROOF SILENCER PAD (w/o Sliding Roof)






(a) Remove the No. 1 roof silencer pad.
102. REMOVE CENTER ROOF SILENCER PAD (w/o Sliding Roof)






(a) Remove the center roof silencer pad.
103. REMOVE ROOF HEADLINING PAD LH (w/o Sliding Roof)






(a) Remove the 2 roof headlining pads LH.
104. REMOVE REAR ROOF SILENCER PAD (w/o Sliding Roof)






(a) Remove the 2 rear roof silencer pads.
105. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SIDE RAIL SPACER LH (w/o Sliding Roof)






(a) Remove the rear No. 2 side rail spacer LH.
106. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SIDE RAIL SPACER RH (w/o Sliding Roof)
HINT: Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

107. REMOVE REAR SIDE RAIL SPACER LH (w/ Sliding Roof)






(a) Remove the rear side rail spacer LH.
108. REMOVE REAR SIDE RAIL SPACER RH (w/ Sliding Roof)
HINT: Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

109. REMOVE NO. 2 ROOF HEADLINING PAD






(a) Remove the 2 No. 2 roof headlining pads.
110. REMOVE VANITY LIGHT ASSEMBLY






(a) Disengage the claw [A] and separate the bulb holder from the vanity light, as shown in the illustration.
(b) Disengage the claw [B] and remove the vanity light assembly.
HINT: Use the same procedure to remove the light on the other side.

111. REMOVE NO. 1 ROOF WIRE
(a) Remove the double-sided tape and roof wire.
112. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH
