D2: Check B+ At Stepper Motor

NOTE: Should F14 or relay 1 be at fault the engine will NOT start.







Use an appropriate link lead to bridge EM010/016 and ground (to energize EMS control relay) Measure the voltage between ground EM010/022 and PI034/002

- Is the voltage B+?
Yes
GO to D3 D3: Check B+ At Stepper Motor
No
Check fuse F14 and that EMS control Relay 1 is energized
GO to D7 D7: Check EGR Ground Continuity
