Front Seat Frame Replacement - Driver's Seat

NOTE:

- If the side airbag has deployed, replace the seat frame and related parts with new ones Service and Repair.
- Put on gloves to protect your hands.
- Apply oil to the pivot areas of the slide lock.
- Apply multipurpose grease to the sliding areas and pivot areas of the seat tracks.

1. Remove the front seat Front Seat Removal/Installation.

2. Remove these items:

- Front seat-back cover/pad Front Seat-back Cover Replacement
- Front seat cushion cover/pad Front Seat Cushion Cover Replacement
- Front seat belt buckle Front Seat Belt Replacement

3. Detach the clips, then remove the recline inner covers (A), the outer upper rail cover (B), the inner upper rail cover (C), and the side airbag module holder (D) from the seat frame (E).





4. Install the seat frame in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:

- If the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, replace them with new ones.
- Make sure the seat wiring harnesses are routed properly and are not pinched.
- Push the clips into place securely.
