EVAP 10 - Check Vacuum: EVAP Hose From VMV to Intake Manifold

^ Key OFF.

^ VMV solenoid disconnected.

^ Disconnect VMV fuel vapor hose that runs from the VMV to the intake manifold vacuum tree.

^ Start engine.

^ Place thumb at one end of fuel vapor hose.

^ Key OFF.

^ Was vacuum present at the fuel vapor hose?

YES -- Reconnect fuel vapor or hose. Go to EVAP 11. EVAP 11 - Check VMV Electro-Mechanical Operation

NO -- Reconnect VMV. Check fuel vapor hose for proper routing, kinks, leaks or blockage.
