Defroster Duct - Installation

INSTALLATION

UPPER DEFROSTER DUCT





1. Position the upper defroster duct (3) into the top of the instrument panel (4).
2. Install the two screws (2) that secure the upper defroster duct to the top of the instrument panel. Tighten the screws to 2 Nm (17 in. lbs.).
3. Install the defroster grille (1) onto the top of the instrument panel.

LOWER DEFROSTER DUCT





1. Position the lower defroster duct (2) into the vehicle.
2. Connect the lower defroster duct to the HVAC housing.
3. Install the two screws (3) that secure the lower defroster duct and the floor distribution duct (5) to the dash panel (1). Tighten the screws to 2 Nm (17 in. lbs.).
4. Install the instrument panel assembly Instrument Panel - Installation.
5. Reconnect the negative battery cable.
