Trunk/tailgate switch

Removing trunk/tailgate switch




- Remove boot lid cover (S40), see Replacing boot lid components Trunk Lid Components.
- Remove tailgate cover (V40), see Tailgate components, changing Tailgate Components.
- Remove the connecting rod from the lock (push locating pin in and separate parts from one another).
- Undo the (3x) lock mounting bolts ( A) and remove the lock.
- Remove connectors.
- Replace complete lock, transfer connecting rod.

Installing trunk/tailgate switch




- Install connectors.
- Position lock.
- Install the (3x) bolts ( A), tighten to 10 Nm.
- Install the connecting rod in the lock (push locating pin in position).

Note! Adjust rod if necessary and check the trunk/tailgate switch.
