Replacing boot lid components

Removing/installing boot lid cover




- Remove boot lid panel.
- Unscrew clips (twist out 4 mm) and remove.
- Check the clips.

Removing boot lid lock mechanism




- Remove the cover panel, See Removing/installing boot lid cover.
- Disconnect the lock's connecting rod at the locking clamp.
- Undo the three bolts securing the lock and remove the lock.
- Remove the connectors.

Installing boot lid lock mechanism
- Transfer the connecting rod.
- Connect the wiring to the lock.
- Place the lock and tighten to 10 Nm.
- Place the connecting rod in the locking clamp and adjust to the right length by pulling the rod back and pressing on the locking clamp.
- Check function.

Note! When adjusting the pull-rod, push the lock cylinder as far to the right as possible and pull the motor rod out as far as possible.

Removing boot lid lock cylinder




- Remove the cover panel, see Removing/installing boot lid cover.
- Disconnect the central locking operating rod.
- Remove the pull-rod from the lock.
- Remove the nuts (4x).
- Push out lock cylinder with bracket and remove connector.
- Install in reverse order

Note! When adjusting the pull-rod, push the lock cylinder as far to the right as possible and pull the motor rod out as far as possible.

Installing boot lid lock cylinder

Note! The lock cylinder (key part) is not replaceable and delivered as one part.

- Place the lock cylinder and connect the wiring, tighten the nuts.
- Place the connecting rod in the locking clamp and adjust.

Note! When adjusting the pull-rod, push the lock cylinder as far to the right as possible and pull the motor rod out as far as possible.

- Check function.
- Install the cover panel.

Adjusting boot lid catch lock




- Loosen the bolts on the body, position the lock and tighten the bolts, tightening torque: 10 Nm.
The height of the boot lid can be set with the hinge.
- Also adjust the impact absorbers so that the boot lid can be closed without resistance and the impact absorbers abut properly.
