Check Signal Lead [EG5]

Check Signal Lead

- Ignition off.
- Disconnect hydraulic unit connector C/ED.

Connect an ohmmeter between test box:
- #20 & terminal 2 on connector C/ED towards control module (DTC 4-1-1)
- #02 & terminal 3 on connector C/ED towards control module (DTC 4-1-2)
- #38 & terminal 4 on connector C/ED towards control module (DTC 4-1-3)
- #21 & terminal 5 on connector C/ED towards control module (DTC 4-1-4)
- #54 & terminal 6 on connector C/ED towards control module (DTC 4-2-1)
- #36 & terminal 7 on connector C/ED towards control module (DTC 4-2-2)
- #37 & terminal 11 on connector C/ED towards control module (DTC 4-2-3)

Ohmmeter should read approx. 0 Ohms.

If reading is OK:
- DTC was due to poor contact in hydraulic unit connector C/ED and control module connector. Check connectors for contact resistance and oxidation as per HA6. Contact Resistance and Oxidation [HA6]

If reading is incorrect:
- Check lead between hydraulic unit connector C/ED and control module for DTC concerned for open circuit as per HA2. Open Circuit [HA2]
