Replace the O-rings and seals.

Make sure the couplings are tight.

Tightening specifications:

M6 bolts: 10 Nm

M8 bolts: 20 Nm






1 Coolant Expansion Tank

2 Engine Coolant Circulation Pump 2 (V178)

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Engine Coolant Circulation Pump 2 V178 ] Service and Repair.

3 Shut-Off Valve for the Cylinder Block

4 Hoses for Heater Core

5 Engine Oil Cooler

6 Coolant Thermostat Housing

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Coolant Thermostat ] Coolant Thermostat.

7 Connecting Piece

• To the radiator upper connection.

8 Non-Return Valve

• In the coolant hose.

9 Connecting Piece

• To the radiator bottom connection.
