After-Run Coolant Pump: Service and Repair

Removing

- Remove the throttle valve control module. Refer to => [ Throttle Valve Control Module J338 ] Service and Repair.

- Remove the windshield wiper arms.

- Remove the plenum chamber cover.

- Remove the center plenum chamber bulkhead.

- Disconnect the connector from the pump.

- Remove the nut - A - and the pump bracket - arrows - from the cover.






- Clamp off the coolant hoses from the pump and remove them.

- Remove the pump from the bracket.

Installing

Installation is carried out in the reverse order while noting the following:

- Check the coolant level inside the expansion tank. Fill as necessary.






- Check the coolant concentration. Refer to => [ Fill Quality, Checking ] Fill Quality, Checking.
