Clutch, Removing

In order to remove and install the clutch, transmission must be secured firmly in vertical position on assembly stand.

- Remove clutch cap => [ Clutch Cap ] Clutch Cap

- Remove securing ring - arrow - for clutch cap - 1 -.





- Remove clutch cap from clutch.

- Remove securing ring - arrow -.





This securing ring must be re-determined later for installation and replaced.

Carefully remove clutch. Make sure that clutch carrier or other clutch components do not fall out, therefore do not rotate clutch under any circumstances!

If this has happened however, components can be assembled according to overview of clutch => [ Clutch Component Overview ] Clutch Component Overview.

- Completely remove clutch - A - in direction of - arrow -.





- Pull out input shaft - A - for transmission oil pump.





Input shaft for transmission oil pump is inserted only after installing the new clutch. Set shaft aside until then.
