Installation

P410 HYBRID TRANSMISSION / TRANSAXLE: GENERATOR CABLE: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL GENERATOR CABLE

NOTICE:
Wear insulated gloves.

(a) Install the generator cable to the hybrid transaxle assembly with the 3 bolts.





Torque : 10 Nm (102 kgf-cm, 7 ft-lbf)

NOTICE:
Keep the sealing surface of the generator cable and the connector terminal joint free of foreign matter.

(b) Engage the 2 claws to install a new terminal cap.





NOTICE:
When installing the terminal cap to the generator cable terminal block, keep the sealing surface free of foreign matter.

(c) Place the generator cable connector shell in position and install it with the 3 bolts.





Torque : 20 Nm (204 kgf-cm, 15 ft-lbf)

(d) Connect the generator cable clamp to the motor cable bracket.





2. INSTALL RADIATOR PIPE

(a) Install the radiator pipe with the 2 bolts.





Torque : 19 Nm (194 kgf-cm, 14 ft-lbf)

(b) Connect the No. 3 radiator hose, No. 4 water by-pass hose and No. 1 radiator hose with the clamps.

3. INSTALL INVERTER TRAY BRACKET Installation

4. INSTALL INVERTER RESERVE TANK ASSEMBLY Installation

5. INSTALL INVERTER WITH CONVERTER ASSEMBLY Installation

6. CONNECT WATER HOSE Installation

7. CONNECT NO. 2 ENGINE ROOM WIRE Installation

8. REMOVE INVERTER TERMINAL COVER Installation

9. CONNECT NO. 2 ENGINE WIRE Installation

10. CONNECT HIGH VOLTAGE CABLE OF FRONT TRANSAXLE Installation

11. CONNECT FRAME WIRE Installation

12. CHECK HIGH VOLTAGE CABLE CONNECTION Installation

13. INSTALL INVERTER TERMINAL COVER Installation

14. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM MAIN WIRE Installation

15. INSTALL NO. 1 INVERTER BRACKET Installation

16. INSTALL SERVICE PLUG GRIP Installation

17. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

18. INSTALL REAR NO. 3 FLOOR BOARD Installation

19. INSTALL REAR DECK FLOOR BOX Installation

20. INSTALL REAR NO. 2 FLOOR BOARD (for Separate Type) Installation

21. ADD COOLANT (for Inverter) Coolant (for Inverter)

22. ADD COOLANT (for Engine) Coolant (for Engine)

23. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK (for Inverter) Testing and Inspection

24. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK (for Engine) Cooling System

25. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER

26. INSTALL FRONT SPOILER COVER (w/ Front Spoiler)

27. INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER (w/ Cover)

28. INSTALL RADIATOR SUPPORT OPENING COVER Installation
