Removal

P314 HYBRID TRANSMISSION / TRANSAXLE: MOTOR CABLE: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE SERVICE PLUG GRIP

Removal

2. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL Removal

3. REMOVE INLET AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY Removal

4. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

5. REMOVE AIR CLEANER FILTER ELEMENT

6. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CASE SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

7. REMOVE UPPER INVERTER COVER Removal

8. REMOVE MOTOR CABLE

CAUTION:
Wear insulated gloves.

(a) Using an insulated tool, remove the 3 bolts.





(b) Disconnect the 3 wire harness clamps and separate the motor cable.





NOTICE:
* Do not damage the terminals, connector housings or inverter with converter assembly when disconnecting them.
* Do not touch the connector waterproofing rubber or terminals.
* Insulate the removed terminals with insulating tape.
* Do not allow any foreign objects or water to enter the inverter with converter assembly.

(c) Disconnect the clamp.





(d) Remove the bolt and disconnect the motor cable from the hybrid vehicle transaxle assembly.

(e) Disconnect the 2 clamps.





(f) Remove the 4 bolts and motor cable from the hybrid vehicle transaxle assembly.
