With New Generation Star Tester (NGS)

Diagnostic Trouble Code Inspection





1. Connect the Special Service Tool (SST) New Generation Star (NGS) to the data link connector-2 and battery.
2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
3. Inspect the diagnostic trouble codes, referring to the SST (NGS) instruction manual.
4. If a diagnostic trouble codes are displayed, inspect the cause by using the number on the diagnostic trouble code table. (Repair as necessary.)
5. Following repairs are made, do the After-Repair procedure to verify that there are no remaining codes.
