Parking Brake Module

Removal
1 Remove the cover and disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to Specifications
2 Remove the rear seat backrest. For additional information, refer to Rear Seat Backrest Rear Seat Backrest




3 Release the auxiliary junction box mounting bracket.
- Remove the 3 nuts.




4 Remove the parking brake module.
- Remove the 3 nuts.
- Disconnect the 2 electrical connectors.

Installation
1 Install the parking brake module.
- Tighten the nuts to 4 Nm (3 lb.ft).
- Connect the electrical connectors.
2 Secure the auxiliary junction box mounting bracket.
- Tighten the nuts to 10 Nm (7 lb.ft).
3 Install the rear seat backrest. For additional information, refer to Rear Seat Backrest Rear Seat Backrest
4 Connect the battery ground cable and install the cover. For additional information, refer to Specifications
