R5: Check Throttle Motor Coil Insulation

NOTE: The throttle body is illustrated here by the ground symbol







With PI033 disconnected, measure the insulation resistance between pin 1 and the throttle body

- Is the resistance > 10 M ohms?
Yes
GO to R6 R6: Check Relay Coil Supply
No
Renew the electronic throttle assembly and test the system for normal operation.
