Headlamp Bulb

REMOVAL

WARNING: THE HALOGEN HEADLAMP BULB CONTAINS PRESSURIZED GAS. IT MAY SHATTER IF THE GLASS ENVELOPE IS SCRATCHED OR DROPPED. HANDLE THE HEADLAMP BULB CAREFULLY. KEEP THE HEADLAMP BULB OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN.

1. Rotate the headlamp switch to the second position to extend the headlamps.
2. Disconnect the battery ground cable.

WARNING: DISCONNECT THE BATTERY GROUND CABLE TO PREVENT ACCIDENTAL RETRACTION ACTION OF THE HEADLAMP AND POSSIBLE PERSONAL INJURY WHILE WORK IS BEING PERFORMED.

NOTE: The headlamps should remain in the extended position with all lamps extinguished.

3. Remove the two screws from the headlamp bezel and remove the headlamp bezel from the headlamp cover hinge.
4. Remove the four headlamp bulb retaining ring screws.
5. Remove the headlamp bulb retaining ring and the headlamp bulb from the headlamp cover hinge.
6. Disconnect the electrical connector and remove the headlamp bulb.

INSTALLATION
To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Check that the headlamp aim has not changed. If adjustment is necessary, refer to adjustments. Adjustments
