Headlamp: Adjustments

All headlamp adjustments should be made with the fuel tank approximately half full, the vehicle unloaded, and the luggage compartment empty, except for the spare tire and jacking equipment. Make sure all tires are inflated to the recommended pressure.

Headlamp aim adjustment should be made with Rotunda Headlamp Aiming Kit 196-00001 or equivalent. Install the aimers on the headlamps. Adjust the headlamp aim according to the latest instructions contained in the kit.

The equipment in Rotunda Headlamp Aiming Kit 196-00001 or equivalent can be calibrated to accommodate a slight slope in the floor, making it usable almost anyplace in the shop. However, the area used to aim headlamps must be reasonably flat.

The headlamp aim adjusting screws are located at the bottom center and the LH center outside of the driver side headlamp. On the passenger side, the adjusting screws are located at the bottom center and the RH center outside of the headlamp. Both adjusting screws are accessible with the headlamps in the extended position.
