RIGHT EXHAUST MANIFOLD

NOTE: Care must be taken to protect the cylinder head covers powder coating from scrapes and abrasions. This procedure covers either the left or right exhaust manifold.

1. Install new gasket (1) and install exhaust manifold (4). Tighten attaching fasteners to 29 Nm (257 in. lbs.).
2. Raise vehicle on hoist.

3. Connect exhaust pipe to manifold and install NEW V-Band clamp. Tighten clamp to 11 Nm (100 in. lbs.).

4. Install engine mount to frame nut (2). Tighten nut to 102 Nm (75 ft. lbs.).
5. Connect upstream oxygen sensor electrical connector.
6. Lower vehicle.
7. Install cylinder head cover Cylinder Head Cover(s) - Installation.

8. Install strut tower to tower brace (1).
9. Install air cleaner housing Air Cleaner Body - Installation.

10. Connect negative battery cable (1). Install battery cover. Close trunk lid.
