Occupant Restraint Controller - Removal

REMOVAL





1. Open deck lid.
2. Remove four bolts to battery compartment cover and remove cover.
3. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.

WARNING: Wait two minutes for the system reserve capacitor to discharge before servicing any airbag components. Failure to do this may result in serious or fatal injury.

4. Remove center console Center Console - Removal.
5. Remove the center bezel Instrument Panel Center Bezel - Removal.
6. Using a trim stick or equivalent, gently pry out on cluster bezel Instrument Panel Cluster Bezel - Removal.
7. Remove radio and electrical connections Removal.
8. Remove two electrical connectors (3) to Occupant Restraint Controller (ORC) (1).
9. From inside center stack area, remove three retaining screws(2) to ORC (1) and remove from floor tunnel.
