Engine Mount Strut Bracket Replacement - Left Side

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement (Service and Repair).
2. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement (Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement).
3. Loosen the engine mount strut to engine mount strut bracket through bolt (1) and nut (3).
4. Remove the engine mount strut bracket through bolt nut (3).
5. Remove the engine harness clip (2) from the through bolt.




6. Remove the engine mount strut to engine mount strut bracket through bolt (2).
7. Rotate the engine mount strut up out of the way.
8. Remove the 2 nuts holding the heater pipes onto the throttle body.
9. Position the heater pipes out of the way.




10. Remove the engine mount strut/engine lift bracket bolts.
11. Remove the engine mount strut/engine lift bracket.

Installation Procedure




1. Position the engine mount strut/engine lift bracket to the cylinder head.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice).

2. Install the engine mount strut/engine lift bracket bolts

Tighten the bolts to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).

3. Position the back heater pipe to the throttle body.
4. Install the nuts holding the heater pipes to the throttle body.




5. Rotate the engine mount strut into position.
6. Install the engine mount strut to engine mount strut bracket through bolt (2).




7. Install the engine harness clip (2) to the through bolt.
8. Install the engine mount strut bracket through bolt nut (3).
9. Tighten the engine mount strut to engine mount strut bracket through bolt (1) and nut (3).

Tighten the bolt/nut to 48 N.m (36 lb ft).

10. Install the air outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement (Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement).
11. Install the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement (Service and Repair).
