Window Replacement - Door

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Door (Service and Repair) .




2. Remove the front door water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Front Door Service and Repair




3. Reposition the window half way down to access the window clamp bolts.




4. Remove the window clamp bolts.




5. Remove the door window through the top opening of the door.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the door window, through the top of the door, to the window regulator that is in the full up position.




2. Hand tighten the door window clamp bolts.




3. With the aid of an assistant standing outside the vehicle, adjust the door window adjuster (1) to fit the door glass to the door opening.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

4. From inside the vehicle tighten the door window clamp bolts.

Tighten the door window regulator clamp bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).





5. Install the front door water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Front Door Service and Repair
6. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Door (Service and Repair) .
7. Perform minor height and tip-in adjustments as necessary. Refer to Window Height Adjustment - Door Minor (Window Height Adjustment - Door Minor) or to Window Tip-In Adjustment - Door (Window Tip-In Adjustment - Door) .
