Hood Hinge Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the hood. Refer to Hood Replacement (Service and Repair).
2. Remove the air inlet screens. Refer to Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement (Service and Repair).
3. Remove the hinge bolts from the fender.
4. Remove the hinge bolts from the hood.
5. Remove the hood hinge.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the hood hinge.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the hinge bolts to the fender and install the hinge bolts to the hood.

Tighten the hinge bolts to 20 Nm (15 lb ft).

3. Install the air inlet screens. Refer to Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement (Service and Repair).
4. Install the hood. Refer to Hood Replacement (Service and Repair).
5. Adjust the hood. Refer to Hood Adjustment (Adjustments).
