Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Open the hood.
2. Remove the hood sealing weatherstrip from the air inlet grille panels. Refer to Hood Rear Seal Replacement (Service and Repair).
3. Remove the windshield wiper arms and blades. Refer to Windshield Wiper Arm Replacement in Wipers/Washer Systems.




4. Remove the air inlet grille panel twist-type screws across the top of the air inlet grille panel.




5. Remove the air inlet grille panel screw located on the left side by the fender.
6. Remove the air inlet grille panels.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the air inlet grille panels.





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the air inlet grille panel screw on the left side by the fender.

Tighten the air inlet grille panel screw until it is fully seated.




3. Install the air inlet grille panel twist-type screws across the top of the air inlet grille panel.
4. Install the windshield wiper arms and blades. Refer to Windshield Wiper Arm Replacement in Wipers/Washer Systems.
5. Install the hood sealing weatherstrip to the air inlet grille panels. Refer to Hood Rear Seal Replacement (Service and Repair).
6. Close the hood.
