OPERATION:
^ The EBTCM sends and receives specific serial data information on the Data Line. These serial data messages are provided and shared by several on-vehicle control modules. The Data Line also allows the use of a BI-directional scan tool such as the Tech 1.
^ A current DTC 76 cannot be read with a Tech 1 due to the loss of Data Line Communications. After Data Line communications are restored, DTC 76 will be stored in memory. Refer to TEST P for Data Line Diagnosis. Test P Data Line Test
