ABS/TCS:

OPERATION:
^ When the ignition switch is first turned to RUN, the EBCM/EBTCM goes through a self-test lasting 2-4 seconds. During this test. the EBCM/EBTCM grounds terminal 52, causing the amber ANTILOCK indicator to light. This serves as an indicator bulb test.
^ When a low fluid condition exists, the EBCM/EBTCM turns on the amber ANTILOCK indicator but does not set a code. A low fluid level condition usually lights the red BRAKE indicator since the master cylinder supplies the PMV reservoir. However, restrictions or air in the hose could cause a low fluid condition in the PMV reservoir without lighting the red BRAKE indicator.

POSSIBLE CAUSES:
- Open in CKT 641, 800, 251, 849 or 853.
- Low brake fluid level or open PMV fluid level switch.
- Short to ground in CKT 641, 800 or 852.
