Radiator and Coolant Fan Assembly Overview





1 Bolt, 10 Nm

• Always replace.

2 Coolant Hose

• To remove, disengage the retaining clip.

3 O-ring

• Always replace.

4 O-ring

• Always replace.

5 Coolant Hose

• To remove, disengage the retaining clip.

• Version shown is for a radiator with bypass; converting to bypass, refer to => [ Converting to a Radiator with Bypass ] Procedures.

6 Bolt, 10 Nm

• Always replace.

7 Fan Shroud

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Fan Shroud ] Service and Repair.

• Version shown is for a radiator with bypass; converting to bypass, refer to => [ Converting to a Radiator with Bypass ] Procedures.

8 Rubber Buffer

• Disengage and remove using a screwdriver.

9 Retaining Pin

10 Coolant Fan (V7)

• With the coolant Fan Control (FC) control module (J293).

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Coolant Fan and Coolant Fan 2 ] Coolant Fan and Coolant Fan 2.

11 Radiator

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Radiator ] Radiator.

• After replacing, replace the entire amount of coolant.

• Version shown is with the bypass; converting to bypass, refer to => [ Converting to a Radiator with Bypass ] Procedures.

12 Bolt, 6 Nm

13 Radiator Bracket

14 Coolant Fan 2 (V177)

• With the coolant FC control module 2 (J671)

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Coolant Fan and Coolant Fan 2 ] Coolant Fan and Coolant Fan 2.

15 Rubber Bushing

16 O-ring

• Always replace.

17 Coolant Hose

• To remove, disengage the retaining clip.

18 O-ring

• Always replace.
