Converting to a Radiator with Bypass

Procedure





• Radiator is removed.

On the installed fan shroud, draw a hole according to dimensions - a and b - as shown in the illustration.

• Dimension - a - = 136 mm.

• Dimension - b - = 23 mm

- Drill a 32 mm diameter hole.

• The hole must be pre-drilled and then drilled to 32 mm diameter using the stepped quick helix drill.

- Disconnect upper right coolant hose from the coolant pipe - arrow -.





- Disconnect the coolant hose - 1 - from the ventilation lines.





• Ignore - item 2 -.

Installing





Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal, noting the following:

• Secure all hose connections using hose clamps appropriate for the model type.

- Install the hose brackets - arrows - on the ventilation pipe as shown in the illustration.

- Clip the hose group bypass hose into the hose bracket as shown.

• Hose group for vehicles with parking heater is shown in the illustration.
