Fuel tank

Removal

Follow instructions about safety information gasoline-fuel system Refer to: Safety information gasoline - fuel system, B6304T4, B6324S5, B6324S4 Service Precautions

Perform depressurizing fuel system Refer to: Fuel system pressure release, B6304T4, B6324S5, B6324S4 Fuel System Pressure Release

Perform fuel tank draining Refer to: Fuel tank draining, TF-80SC Service and Repair

Remove rear wheel Refer to: Wheels Service and Repair




Torque: M6, 10 Nm




Torque: M6, 10 Nm





Note! Note the position of the component before removal.

Perform flange joint, assembly Refer to: Flanged joint, assembling Removal and Replacement




Torque: M8, 24 Nm









Warning! Fuel may still be present in the fuel tank after draining.

Warning! Be prepared to collect escaping fluid.









Caution! Use suitable packing material to prevent damage to the component.

Caution! Make sure that no strain is placed on the fuel lines and wiring harnesses.

Use: Transmission jack.




Torque: M8, 24 Nm





Note! This step requires the aid of another technician.





Installation

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
