Installation




Raise the vehicle so that the engine / transmission unit are free beneath the vehicle. Place the engine and transmission on the lifting table. Lower the lifting table to its lowest position.
Lower the vehicle over the engine/transmission unit, being sure to fit the unit between the frame members. Stop lowering the vehicle just before the engine/transmission unit is in position. Raise the engine/transmission unit.

Install the following items:
- right-hand engine mounting. Refer to: Engine support insulator, right, B6304T2, B6324S Engine Support Insulator, Right
- left-hand engine mounting. Refer to: Engine support insulator left, B6304T2, B6324S Engine Support Insulator Left




















Torque: M8, 24 Nm




















Torque: M6, 10 Nm




Torque: M6, 10 Nm












Torque: M6, 10 Nm





Install the following items:
- right drive shaft. Refer to: Drive shaft right, B8444S, TF-80SC AWD, B6304T2, TF-80SC AWD, B6324S, TF-80SC AWD Drive Shaft Right Drive shaft right, B6324S, TF-80SC Drive Shaft Right
- left driveshaft. Refer to: Driveshaft left, B8444S, TF-80SC AWD, B6304T2, TF-80SC AWD, B6324S, TF-80SC AWD, B6324S, TF-80SC Driveshaft Left Driveshaft left, M66, M66 AWD Driveshaft Left
- the subframe. Refer to: Front subframe, B6304T2, B6324S Front Subframe
- the exhaust manifold. Refer to: Service and Repair
- the bevel gear. Refer to: Bevel gear Bevel Gear
- the auxiliaries belt Refer to: Auxiliary belt, B6324S Service and Repair
- Engine control module (ECM). Refer to: Engine control module (ECM), B6304T2, B6324S Engine Control Module (ECM)

Move over the oil level sensor. Refer to: Level sensor engine oil, B6304T2, B6324S Service and Repair
