Headlamp bulb

Preparatory work

Ignition off




Ignition off.
Switch off the lighting switch.

Remove the headlamp. Refer to: Headlamps Headlamps.
Component position headlight. Refer to: Component position Locations.

Replacing components

Removing bulbs high/low beam




1. Dipped beam
2. High beam.

Remove:
- the cover
- the connector
- the spring catch (press and turn)
- the bulb.

Installing bulbs high/low beam
Align the stop lamp.

Install:
- the spring
- the connector
- the cover.

Removing the bulb for side marker lamps/turn signal lamps





Remove:
- the bulb holder (press and turn)
- the bulb.





Installing the bulb for side marker lamps/turn signal lamps

Install:
- the bulb
- the bulb holder.

Removing the parking lamp bulb




Pull the bulb holder straight out.
Remove the bulb.

Installing the parking lamp bulb

Install:
- the bulb
- the bulb holder.

Finishing

Install the headlight. Refer to: Headlamps Headlamps.

Function test
Test the function.
When replacing headlamps or carrying out work which may have affected the headlamp alignment, check and align the beam. See: Headlamps, adjusting Headlamps, Adjusting.
