10. Checking the EVAP Valve



Checking The EVAP Valve







HINT: Leakage through the valve can be detected by plugging the hose between the canister and the EVAP valve and then performing the quick test of the fuel tank system. If a leak is detected by a previous quick test but no leak is detected when the hose between the canister and EVAP valve is blocked, the leak is through the valve.

Detach the hose between the canister and EVAP valve from the connection to the valve. Plug the hose while performing the quick test of the fuel tank system.
