18. Fault Tracing Information

Fault-tracing Information
The engine control module (ECM) cannot perform leakage diagnosis through activation of the quick test of the fuel tank system. This could be because conditions for starting the quick test are not fulfilled, a fault has arisen during fault tracing or a fault was detected before fault tracing was initiated. Check that all conditions for starting the quick test of the fuel tank system are fulfilled and that hoses, connectors, components, etc. are properly fitted and are undamaged.

HINT: Conclude fault tracing for this fault. Then read the diagnostic trouble codes in the vehicle communication input and fault trace another trouble code if others are stored in the engine control module (ECM).
