Preparatory work

Remove:
- the battery negative lead. See: Note when disconnecting and connecting the battery lead Battery Disconnecting
- Passenger side soundproofing Passenger Side Soundproofing.

Removing the power unit blower fan




Remove the 2 x screws (1) and the glove compartment.
Slacken off the screw (2) at the lower edge of the dashboard.
Carefully pry out the dashboard at the lower edge.





Remove:
- the connector
- the 2 x screws and remove the power unit.

Hint: To facilitate access to the screws, use a bit in an adjustable wrench or a small ratchet.

Installing power unit blower fan

Install:
- the power unit
- the 2 x screws, and tighten
- the connector
- the screws (2) at the lower edge of the dashboard and tighten
- Passenger side soundproofing Passenger Side Soundproofing
- the battery negative lead. See: Note when disconnecting and connecting the battery lead Battery Disconnecting.
