Tailgate lock cylinder

Removing the lock cylinder from the tailgate





Remove:
- the panel according to Tailgate panel
- the tail lamp unit according to Tailgate tail lamp unit
- the control rod from the lock by pressing the pin out
- the control rod for the central locking motor from the clips
- the lock cylinder assembly.

Note! The lock cylinder (key section) is not replaceable but is supplied as one component.

Installing the lock cylinder assembly
Check the rubber seal.

Install:
- the lock cylinder
- the tail lamp unit according to Tailgate tail lamp unit
- the control rod. Press the pin in
- the control rod for the central locking motor.
Check the function.

Note! Adjusting the control rod: remove the control rod by the lock. Press the lock cylinder as far to the right as possible so that the control rod can be pulled out as far as possible. Install the control rod on the lock.

Install the panel according to Tailgate panel .
