Preparations
Remove the hub cap and the wheel.

Remove front brake disc

Remove
- the brake pads, see operation Replacing front brake pads Replacing Front Brake Pads.

Note! Do not depress the brake pedal when the brake pads have been removed.

Cleaning and inspecting brake disc and hub

Note! Cleaning is important for preventing lateral runout from brake disc.

Ensure that the hub flange is clean.
Remove rust using a iron scrapper or a steel brush.
Inspect hub.
If the hub is damaged, lateral runout at the hub should be measured. See Measuring lateral runout in hub (front/rear) Testing and Inspection.

- the complete brake caliper holder including caliper; use new bolts. Tighten to 100 Nm.
- the brake pads, see operation Replacing front brake pads Replacing Front Brake Pads.
