Throttle Body: Service and Repair

Throttle body (electronic throttle module), replacing

Removing the throttle unit





Remove:
- the hose between the throttle unit and the air cleaner (ACL) housing
- the connector for the throttle unit
- the cable from the clip on the throttle unit
- the vacuum hoses
- the screws
- the throttle unit
- the gasket.

Installing the throttle unit





Install:
- the throttle unit. Use a new gasket. Tighten to 10 Nm
- the vacuum hoses
- the connector for the throttle unit
- the cable in the clip on the throttle unit
- the hose between the throttle unit and the air cleaner (ACL) housing.

Note! After replacing the throttle unit, the throttle unit must be adapted using the vehicle communication input: "Adapting the throttle unit".

Remedy as necessary.
